Miranda Lambert and Husband Brendan McLoughlin All Smiles at Country Power Players Event

What split rumors? Miranda Lambert and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, appeared to be in great spirits at the 2019 Billboard Country Power Players event in Nashville on June 4. The country songstress and her beau were all smiles while posing for photos together.

Miranda, 35, looked casually chic in her patterned jacket, which she styled with a white top, silver statement necklace, a denim skirt and white boots. Her NYPD officer husband, Brendan, 27, also looked suave in his blue plaid button-up for the soirée held at the Stateside Kitchen.

It was recently speculated that the dynamic duo was facing some marital troubles and headed for divorce, but Miranda’s rep recently slammed the rumors, confirming “they are happy and together!” The singer tied the knot with her law enforcement husband during a secret ceremony in January, but it wasn’t until a month later that she made her marriage public knowledge.

“I met the love of my life. And we got hitched!” Miranda wrote in her Instagram announcement on February 16. “My heart is full. Thank you Brendan McLoughlin for loving me for … Me. #theone.” The couple first crossed paths in November 2018, when the Grammy-winning artist and her band, the Pistol Annies, performed on Good Morning America. He was assigned to the South Midtown Precinct for the day, which happens to include Times Square, where she was taking the stage.

Miranda and Brendan graced the red carpet for the first time as a couple in April, at the 2019 Academy of Country Music Awards. Since then, they have made several appearances together.

Only a few weeks ago, the lovebirds were spotted waiting for their car to pick them up outside of their New York City apartment on May 15. Miranda and Brendan have definitely been getting more comfortable showing off their love in public since they exchanged their vows. This marks Miranda’s second marriage, as she previously wed fellow country music star Blake Shelton in 2011, but their marriage ended in 2015. It looks like she and Brendan are still going strong!
