This is all so very messy. Miranda Lambert’s new husband Brendan McLoughlin’s ex-fiancée, Jackie Bruno, is reportedly “mortified” after he secretly married the country singer, Jackie’s mom told Us Weekly on February 20. “[Jackie] just wants to say that he’s just a lying, cheating, no good piece of garbage,” Carol Bruno told the outlet. Miranda, 35, took to Twitter on February 16 to reveal that she tied the knot in a secret wedding ceremony. She also shared in an Instagram post, “In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news. I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan Mcloughlin for loving me for…. me. ❤️ #theone.” The news sent shockwaves through her fandom, but Brendan’s ex-fiancée may have been the person who was most hurt by the news.

Three days after Brendan met the Grammy winner in November 2018, he welcomed his first child — a boy named Landon — with another woman named Kaihla Rettinger. And Carol said he was seeing the mother of his child while he was engaged to Jackie. “He was at my house and ate dinner with her father and I at our house almost every night while his pregnant baby mama was at his place,” she claimed.

Jackie’s mom added, “He told her to keep it [the engagement] quiet because he knew about the baby on the way. He’s just a lying, cheating, conniving, narcissistic [person].” Eek. It really does sound like this is a rough situation all around.

So what about Blake Shelton, Miranda’s own ex? How does he feel about the seemingly quick relationship and marriage? “Blake found [out] about the wedding at the same time everyone else did,” an insider told Us Weekly on February 17. The source added, “Blake was not given a heads-up and doesn’t know her new husband. Since they split they have had almost zero contact.” Better luck with this relationship, Miranda.
