“Who do you think you were in a past life?” Partridge, 23, asked his costar, to which she replied: “Oh, I actually know exactly who I was.”
Brown explained that she has a birthmark on her lower back “at the very bottom” of her spine, which represents how she died in a former life.
“In war — well, I don’t know if this has happened a lot or not — but swords would [be used] to kill people but make them have a painful death,” she said.

“They would put swords up people’s spines, so they were completely paralyzed, but they would obviously kind of die,” she said. “And that’s how I think I died. I think I might have been a soldier.”
Brown noted that she was “definitely a man” — and “hopefully” a “closeted gay” one at that.
When she asked Partridge who he thinks he may have been in a past life, he said, “I don’t believe in past lives.”
“Well, that ends that then,” she quipped.
Brown plays the title role in Enola Holmes 3, which was released July 1, opposite Partridge as Tewkesbury. The two have been with the franchise since the first film debuted on Netflix in 2020.
When they met on set of the first film, Partridge said his first impression was that Brown was “quite short.”
“Second thought: she’s really cool,” he said. “Third thought: we get on. She’s funny. Yeah, it was in that realm. I was surprised how easy it was to go into a room and kind of get on.”
“I must have caught you on a good day,” he added, jokingly. “Because I now know you better.”
