Megyn Kelly is questioning whether it would be a positive thing for President Donald Trump to endorse Spencer Pratt in his bid to become the next mayor of LA.
“Now there’s a question about whether Trump is going to endorse him,” the political commentator, 55, shared on the Monday, May 18 episode of The Megyn Kelly Show. “Reportedly, the White House is considering it, since it’s California and LA, you do have to ask the question: Would that be helpful? Right, it’s like, uh, not sure. I’m sure they’re weighing that, they’re aware of that dynamic too.”

The former talk show host further complimented The Hills alum, 42, for “doing such a good job at the ad game,” noting “he’s clearly got a good eye for communication, what works, and what doesn’t.”
“He should pull the Trump line out, ‘What the hell do you have to lose?’ What Trump said to black voters. ‘What do you have to lose?'” Kelly said. “That’s what Spencer Pratt needs to say, he’s got something there, he’s got the it factor.”

As In Touch previously reported, Pratt’s competitor, Nithya Raman, took to X on Saturday, May 16, writing, “Donald Trump is about to endorse Spencer. Tonight is the fundraising deadline, and we need to raise more to prove that LA doesn’t want a MAGA Republican mayor who lives in the Bel Air hotel.”
In response, Pratt posted a GIF on X of himself rolling his eyes.
The next day, on Sunday, May 17, the reality TV star shared a photo of the California Post cover on X, which featured him talking to supporters with the headline “LA moms shaken by rise in crime rally around Pratt in Valley.”
“I have the only endorsement i need,” Pratt penned. “Moms and animal lovers who want to feel safe.”
