Kelly, 55, appeared on Sky News Australia on Wednesday, July 8, and she said that she believes the evidence against accused killer Tyler Robinson, 23, is “overwhelming” and argued that critics who continue to question the case should “put up or shut up.”
“To those who still have their doubts about Tyler Robinson, I say it’s time to put up or shut up,” Kelly said. “Either you have evidence that you can introduce under the federal rules of evidence or the state rules out in Utah … or you don’t.”
The preliminary hearing which began on Monday, July 6, in Provo, Utah, is expected to conclude on Friday, July 10. That’s when Judge Tony Graf will decide whether prosecutors have presented enough evidence to establish probable cause and send the case to trial.

The conservative commentator is confident that Robinson, 22, will ultimately be convicted unless a juror refuses to acknowledge the evidence. Kelly also said that she believes he would likely receive the death penalty if he was convicted.
“He’ll be convicted and he will likely be sentenced to death,” Kelly added. “And I won’t shed one tear.”
Robinson is accused of murdering Charlie Kirk during the first stop of his American Comeback Tour on September 10, 2025. Kirk was shot in the neck while speaking to a large crowd at Utah Valley University. He was transported to a local hospital but later succumbed to his wounds.
Robinson turned himself in roughly 36 hours later and was charged with aggravated murder. He has not entered a plea at this time.
