Machine Gun Kelly Clears Up Confusion About the Name of His and Megan Fox’s Daughter Days After Birth

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly have not shared the name of their daughter yet, despite what fans may have initially thought when her birth was announced.

The rapper, 34, took to his Instagram Stories to clear up confusion about the baby girl’s moniker on Monday, March 31.

“Wait, guys … her name isn’t ‘Celestial Seed,’” MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, wrote over a screenshot of a TikTok announcing the baby’s birth with the caption, “Megan Fox has welcomed baby girl Celestial Seed.”

MGK continued, “Her mom is gonna tell you the name when we’re ready.”

The clarification came four days after the “Tickets to My Downfall” singer revealed that their daughter had arrived.

“She’s finally here!! our little celestial seed,” he wrote in a March 27 Instagram post alongside a black and white video of his thumb rubbing against his daughter’s tiny fingers. At the end of the post, he added, “3/27/25.”

Megan, 38, announced that she and MGK were expecting their first child together in an Instagram post on November 11, 2024. The Jennifer’s Body star shared a maternity photo of herself completely nude and covered in black ink, as well as a snap of the positive pregnancy test.

“Nothing is ever really lost. welcome back,” she wrote in the caption, seemingly referring to the previous pregnancy loss she experienced with MGK.

“I’ve never been through anything like that in my life. I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately … trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?’” Megan said of the miscarriage on Good Morning America in November 2023.

Megan also shares kids Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 8, with ex Brian Austin Green. Meanwhile, MGK is a dad to daughter Casie, 15, with ex Emma Cannon.

Weeks after Megan announced her pregnancy, TMZ reported on December 10, 2024, that she and the “Bloody Valentine” singer had called it quits after spending Thanksgiving together in Vail, Colorado. The Transformers actress allegedly found “upsetting” material on MGK’s phone during their trip, and it made her want him to leave the getaway early.

Neither Megan nor MGK have publicly commented on the reported split.

While it’s unclear where Megan and MGK stand in their relationship, a source exclusively told In Touch on January 24 that the Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen star is “not going to try and keep him out of their baby girl’s life.”

“She loves the relationship he has with his older daughter and would never try and deprive him of that with their daughter,” the insider said.

The source later added, “She’s staying firm right now that it is over, but with their history of going back and forth and the insane connection and attraction they have, no one would be shocked if she were to break down and try again. She’s extremely attached to him, right now she’s adamant that there’s no going back but the truth is that could change. It’s all so intense and dramatic right now, what she’s going through is beyond tough.”

On January 29, the musician seemingly slammed claims that he wasn’t in contact with his former Midnight in the Switchgrass costar amid her pregnancy.

“How can ‘sources say’ when the sources haven’t said anything,” he wrote on Instagram.

While MGK didn’t share specific context for the post, his comment came hours after TMZ reported that “the lines of communication” between him and Megan were “closed.”
