‘LPBW’ Star Tori Roloff Admits She’s Struggling With ‘Body Image Issues’ During 2nd Pregnancy

She’s getting honest. Little People, Big World star Tori Roloff is currently pregnant and expecting baby No. 2 — a girl! — with her husband, Zach Roloff. But even though the 28-year-old is so happy to make another addition to her family, she admitted that she is struggling with feeling insecure about the changes her body is going through during her second pregnancy.

“This pregnancy has been a lot harder on me than the last. Don’t get me wrong — I’ve been so lucky … I’m not sick (anymore) and I haven’t had any complications (thank the lord). However, I have had a harder time accepting my body this go around,” the TLC star wrote in a very candid caption on Instagram on Saturday, July 6. “I’ve gotten bigger a lot faster than I did with Jackson and I’ve become a lot more insecure. Hearing people ask me if I’m sure it’s not twins definitely does not help (for all our sakes-don’t ever ask a woman this question. Like ever). It’s been hard to really enjoy this pregnancy because I’ve let my own body image issues get in the way.”

But even though Tori allowed herself to have a moment to validate her own body insecurity issues, she quickly turned it into a very positive message for herself and her followers. “Us as women are so badass. Like we can grow babies. And I know I need to give this up to God right [now] and be thankful for this gift — and I’m trying, trust me,” Tori continued. “But for all those women out there — pregnant or not — you need to hear this just like I do: you’re beautiful, you’re strong, and dang it love yourself no matter what. I know someone besides just me needs to hear that today. So excuse me while I go try my best to live out these words and continue growing a freaking human being. 🎀👶🏻”

Tori’s sister-in-law, Audrey Roloff, praised her for being so open and honest. “You are so beautiful and strong sister💗. Love you so much and grateful for your honesty here and desire to make people feel less alone🙏🏻 LOVE YOU!” the 27-year-old wrote. It seems like she really understood how Tori if feeling, because she also currently pregnant and expecting her second child with her husband, Jeremy Roloff.

And Tori’s father-in-law, Matt Roloff‘s girlfriend also chimed in with words of encouragement. “Ugh … the body image insecurity train. I ride it often myself 🙈,” Caryn Chandler wrote. “Thank u sweet Tori — For a reminder to accept & luv our imperfect selves (pregers or not ). Love u gurl —  you glow inside, out and always. 😘💕.”
