Leonardo DiCaprio’s Girlfriend Camila Morrone Claps Back at Haters: ‘Learn to Live With a Little Less Hatred’

Not here for the haters! Leonardo DiCaprio‘s girlfriend, model Camila Morrone, definitely had some time on Friday, July 26, so she decided to address all of the criticism she’s been getting online about her relationship with the 44-year-old Once Upon a Time … In Hollywood star in a video message on Instagram.

“I just read some of the comments on my Instagram and my god, people are so mean and like, full of anger with people that they know nothing about and I guess I just hope on this Friday that people learn to live with a little less hatred and place their time and interest elsewhere because living without hatred feels pretty good,” Camila, 22, said in a series of selfie videos on her Instagram Story.

It seems like most of the hate that Camila gets online has to do with the 22-year age gap between her and her A-lister boyfriend. It seems like Camila was responding to the hate she received on a recent Instagram post that she shared featuring iconic Hollywood couples — including Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall — and she wrote, “A love like this,” in the caption.

But some Instagram followers chose to troll Camila in the comments. “No one thinks its weird this [44-year-old] man only dates young women in their 20s. This is why Hollywood is so f–ked up with predators and pedophilia. He’s old enough to be her father,” one hater wrote, and another troll commented, “I want the best for all women. He has a track record of dating very young models and then breaking up with them. It is what he has done for YEARS. I hope he stays with you. Good luck.”

Meanwhile, other fans who have similar age gaps with their spouses shared messages of support for Camila and Leo. “So many haters … There is a 15 year age difference between my husband and I. Who gives a s–t. Just be happy and find someone who brings out the best in you,” one fan commented, and another wrote, “Cami ignore all the bad people, they are jealous of you and remember I LOVE YOU SO MUCH GIRL 💗.”
