Laying down the law. Britney Spears’ ex-husband Kevin Federline wants to make sure the mother of his two children is doing OK amid her mental health treatment before she spends time with their two sons, Preston, 13, and Jayden, 12.

“Britney’s immediate concern has been in having increased visitation time with her boys,” a source told Us Weekly. “Kevin won’t allow the boys to spend more time with their mother until Britney is once again stable and therapeutic on medication. He allows the boys to spend time with Britney, but it’s at his discretion.”

While the blonde beauty, 37, was at the wellness center, the backup dancer, 41, looked after their children. The former flames were married for three years — from 2004 to 2007 — before they parted ways.

Meanwhile, the “Toxic” singer checked out of the California facility after she completed her 30-day treatment on April 25. “She feels rejuvenated,” a source told Us Weekly at the time.

Two days prior, the Mississippi native shared an update with her Instagram followers about her progress. “Hi, guys. Just checking in with all of you who are concerned about me,” she said in the video clip. “All is well. My family has been going through a lot of stress and anxiety lately, so I just needed time to deal, but don’t worry, I’ll be back very soon.”

Britney also wanted to clear the air about some of the gossip that was being said about her. “I just wanted to say hi because things that are being said have just gotten out of control!!! Wow!!!” she continued in the caption. “There’s rumors, death threats to my family and my team and just so many things crazy things being said. I am trying to take a moment for myself, but everything that’s happening is just making it harder for me. Don’t believe everything you read and hear.”

She concluded the lengthy post by reassuring her fans that she is confident in all situations. “You may not know this about me, but I am strong, and [I] stand up for what I want! Your love and dedication is amazing, but what I need right now is a little bit of privacy to deal with all the hard things that life is throwing my way,” she said. “If you could do that, I would be forever grateful. Love you.”

She’s stronger than yesterday, that is for sure.
