“Every time I’ve had work done, whatever it’s been, face, or, I don’t know, eyelids, or whatever I’ve had done, she just gives me so much [expletive], so much crap!” Griffin said, via Entertainment Weekly, before mimicking O’Donnell’s voice, saying, “What are they gonna do? You’ve already lifted it up enough. People don’t go to see your stand-up to see your face, they go to hear your jokes, they want to hear your stories.”
Griffin also recalled the former The View co-host calling her cosmetic enhancements a “phony look.”

The comedian then joked about seeing her friend undergo cosmetic surgery herself earlier this year.
“Then, sure enough, she reveals that she got a facelift and she looks amazing, and she doesn’t look like she got a facelift,” Griffin said, according to the outlet. “I call it a little yank. I texted her last night!”
Griffin shared the text message she sent O’Donnell, which read: “I wrote, ‘You little devil! When I think of all the [expletive] you gave me about getting my face work. I love it, I think you look [expletive] fantastic. I hope you’re proud of yourself. All my friends want to know who your surgeon is, and they want to go to that surgeon.”

Griffin concluded by saying O’Donnell’s doctor did a “good job.”
“She just looks so pretty and natural,” she added.
