Pete Davidson Is a ‘Breath of Fresh Air’ for Kate Beckinsale: ‘She’s Falling for Him’

Still going strong! It was only a few months ago when Kate Beckinsale and Pete Davidson were first seen together, and now it seems like the relationship is hot and heavy, a source exclusively told In Touch.

“Pete’s been an exciting breath of fresh air, and she’s falling for him, big time,” the source noted. “He’s hyper-intelligent, hilarious, quick-witted and kind, plus a fantastic and considerate lover, too — everything she wants from a guy.”

Even though there is a 20-year age gap between them, neither seems to mind. So much so, the comedian, 25, *finally* commented on their relationship during the “Weekend Update” segment on the March 9 episode of Saturday Night Live.

“Apparently, people have a crazy fascination with our age difference, but it doesn’t really bother us,” Pete said. He then added that if people had questions, they could ask other celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio and Scott Disick who have also dated young women.

The insider pointed out that the 45-year-old doesn’t always gravitate towards younger men. “This whole ‘cougar Kate’ thing is a little off-base because while she does like to date younger guys, it’s well known she’s been open to a serious romance for some time,” they said. “Until Pete came along, the only guys Kate’s been dating lately have been fun fling material. While she’s enjoyed herself it’s by no means her ideal scenario.”

The lovebirds first made headlines when they were spotted leaving a Golden Globes afterparty together on January 6. Since then, Kate attended the Staten Island native’s comedy show in L.A. and they were spotted making out all night at the Rangers Game in New York City on March 4.

Even his coworker Aidy Bryant is happy for him! “I only wish Pete the best, of course,” she told Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday, March 13. It seems like these two are a match made in Hollywood heaven!
