Josiah Duggar Reveals It Was a “Struggle” Not to Kiss Lauren Swanson Before Tying the Knot: “We’re Magnets”

Ooh la la! Josiah Duggar shared his first kiss with Lauren Swanson after they were pronounced husband and wife, and the 21-year-old revealed he "struggled" waiting to lock lips with the woman of his dreams. He spoke about anticipating their kiss on the special online-only episodes of Counting On previewing their nuptials, released on July 18.

The lovebirds got hitched at the John Brown University Cathedral Of The Ozarks in Siloam Springs, AR, on June 30. Josiah and Lauren, 19, looked positively smitten with each other while tying the knot in front of their family and friends. Unlike his siblings, Josiah went all in for his kiss and even dipped his bride onstage. "It definitely has been a struggle for both of us. Just waiting… it's like two magnets," Josiah said, and needless to say, fans could tell!

Josiah was even seen tearing up as Lauren walked down the aisle in her gorgeous white gown and veil, carrying a bouquet of flowers. Viewers got a glimpse of Josiah's nerves before their wedding, but they were both more excited to exchange their vows and pack on some PDA. Prior to their wedding, the couple was following strict touching rules, but after they were official, Josiah lifted her up and carried her away as the audience cheered.

Josiah and Lauren have only really known each other for about nine months, but they're head-over-heels in love and thrilled about enjoying this exciting new chapter of their lives together. Jessa Duggar even gushed over her new sister-in-law in the clip, saying: "I remember thinking, this family is so sweet. Like genuinely kind, to the core. Lauren is very precious.
