Gorgeous Couple! See ‘Counting On’ Star Josiah Duggar’s Cutest Pics With Wife Lauren Swanson

Ah, young love! Counting On stars Josiah Duggar and his wife, Lauren Duggar (née Swanson), are the proud parents of daughter Bella, and they’ve shared the cutest moments since they first got together.

In a candid Instagram post listing 11 facts about herself, Lauren revealed when she first laid eyes on now-husband. “Met the Duggar family in 2010, at the ATI conference in Big Sandy, Texas,” she wrote on a photo of herself on September 11, 2019. “So yes, I watched Josiah grow up; I remember him as the funny/talkative little kid.” How sweet!

Lauren accompanied Josiah on a trip through Australia and New Zealand with his family following his split from his first courtship with Marjorie Jackson. The two seriously dated from April to August 2015 before announcing they were no longer together.

“A few weeks ago Marjorie and Josiah agreed to end their courtship, keeping in step with what they believe the Lord’s will is,” Josiah’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, wrote on Facebook at the time. “Both are thankful for the time getting to know each other, and their families continue to enjoy each other’s company and close friendship.”

It seems like everything worked out for the best because Josiah and Lauren got engaged in March 2018, tied the knot in June 2018 and welcomed their baby girl in November 2019.

“After a long and difficult labor, our girl arrived,” the couple had said in a statement. “When we finally got to see and hold our precious Bella Milagro, all the pain instantly went away. We can’t believe she is ours — she is so perfect! She definitely has lived up to her name, which means ‘beautiful miracle.’ Today we are basking in God’s goodness!”

In February 2019, the pair revealed they suffered a devastating miscarriage in October 2018. “A couple months ago, we found out that we were expecting, but suddenly thereafter, we lost our baby,” Lauren said in a clip posted to TLC of their firstborn, whom they were going to name Asa. Josiah added, “It really was a hard time for our family going through this right after we got married. And all the dreams of getting to see our little one and hold it in our hands dashed before our eyes.”

While they are best known for their roles as reality TV stars, Josiah and Lauren have stepped out of the spotlight since Counting On was canceled in June 2021.

The couple rarely updates their joint Instagram account, which is currently set to private. In November 2021, they deleted all but six photos on Instagram – including photos of their daughter – when Josiah’s older brother, Josh Duggar, was in the middle of his child pornography trial. As of October 2022, the account only has two photos uploaded.
