Jessica Biel Says Justin Timberlake Is a ‘Romantic, Tender Person’ Amid Rumors of Marriage Struggles

Jessica Biel went all out for husband Justin Timberlake’s birthday over the weekend.

“I tried to spoil him,” Biel, 43, told Extra on Tuesday, February 3. “We filled the house with flowers and the kids made cards and we had a nice dinner with friends. It was perfect.”

Timberlake is likely to return the favor in the coming days, the 7th Heaven star revealed. “He’s a deeply, deeply romantic, tender person, so probably, yes,” she responded when asked if he would spoil her for Valentine’s Day.

“I know some people think it’s a little bit of a cheesy, you know, consumer holiday, but I don’t care,” Biel added. “Why not celebrate love when you can?”

The couple are reportedly overcoming a rough patch after years of scandals for the former boybander.

“Justin’s tour has been really tough on his marriage and his family life, they’ve been living almost separate lives,” a source exclusively told In Touch last March. “She can’t always be with him, so she was worrying more than ever about his health and if he’s making the right decisions.”

In addition to his world tour, Biel and Timberlake’s marriage was tested when he was caught holding hands with costar Alisha Wainwright — and again when he was arrested for DUI in the Hamptons in 2024.
