Jamie Spears’ Incident With Britney’s Son Could Affect Her Custody Agreement With Kevin Federline

Time will tell. It looks like Jamie Spears’ heated dispute with Britney Spears’ son Sean could impact the pop star’s custody agreement with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline. The ordeal may “hurt Britney a lot” because the kids might not want to be around their grandfather, according to Goldie Schon, Lawyer from Woodland Hills CA/Law Offices.

“So now this helps Kevin in his pursuit to possibly get more time with the children because he could say Britney’s reliant on her father and is persuaded by the father, and there goes the snowball,” Goldie tells In Touch exclusively, although she doesn’t legally represent any party in the situation.

As we previously confirmed, Kevin, 41, filed a police report on August 25 following an argument that took place at Jamie’s home in Thousand Oaks the day prior. Jamie allegedly “battered” Sean during the dispute — which is currently under investigation. Soon after, the “Piece of Me” songstress, 37, took both of the kids to stay at Kevin’s place, according to Radar.

The exes recently formalized their custody arrangement, having agreed that Kevin will get custody of their sons 70 percent of the time, while Britney will get 30 percent unsupervised custodial rights. However, this family feud may alter the agreement in place for 13-year-old Sean and 12-year-old Jayden.

“Kevin could very well file a motion with the court and say that the alleged incident with Jamie happened because Britney was not supervising the children and left them with her dad and she should have even less time than she has, or her time should be monitored by some paid monitor with the children, even during the limited time she has with the children because she’s clearly not capable of being a supervising parent,” Goldie revealed to In Touch.

“Absolutely he could take her to court to do that. I don’t know if he’d prevail but anyone can ask. More time with the children is more money in his pocket.”

Kevin has reportedly since been granted a restraining order against Jamie on behalf of Preston and Jayden following the incident. Meanwhile, Britney has yet to release a statement about the ordeal.
