TLC confirmed that 1000-Lb. Sisters will not air a new episode on November 5, 2024, though the network did not share a specific reason about why fans will have to wait one week until the next new episode airs on November 12, 2024.

What Happens in the Next Episode of ‘1000-Lb. Sisters’?

While TLC didn’t explain why fans have to go one more week until the next episode, the network did share a teaser clip via Instagram that showed what viewers have to look forward to.

The clip began with Amy Slaton explaining that she was cooking dinner for her entire family, including sister Amanda Haltmerman. The tone then shifted as Tammy Slaton told viewers that she hadn’t spoken to Amanda in “two months.”

“I don’t want to be around her,” Tammy said about Amanda in a confessional, and brother Chris Combs weighed in, “Lord only knows how this is gonna go.”

While Amy said she was determined to fix their “family dynamic,” Amanda insisted that she wasn’t open to working through her issues with Tammy. “A reconciliation is not in the books for me,” she said in a private confessional.

The clip then cut to the family dinner, where Amanda announced that she had a “bomb to drop tonight.”

Chris then took a deep breath before he walked out of the kitchen, and Amanda broke down in tears as she explained that she needed a break.

Shortly after the teaser clip was shared, several fans took to the comments section to wonder what Amanda’s news was. Many people speculated that she was revealing her plans to move from Kentucky to Florida, as she previously made the big move to be with her boyfriend, RJ.

Meanwhile, one social media user pointed out that the drama must be about something serious. “It must be bad if Chris walks away!” the fan wrote.
