Days after a woman claimed that she was sexually assaulted by Impractical Jokers alum Joe Gatto, which the comedian has denied, a second woman claiming to be a former employee accused him of inappropriate behavior.

The woman, whose identity was kept anonymous, told People on Sunday, March 23, that she met Gatto, 48, at a live show when she was 15 years old, but she claimed that his behavior became flirtatious when she turned 18. She told the outlet she began working for him just after she graduated from college — which was prior to Gatto’s exit from Impractical Jokers in December 2021 — and claimed that another former employee tried to warn her about his inappropriate, often “creepy” and “handsy” behavior.

The source claimed that she soon learned why the warning was issued, as Gatto sometimes inappropriately grabbed her and asked for back massages. He also allegedly invited her to his room, asked her to cuddle and made inquiries about her sex life.

The woman claimed that Gatto bragged about being in an open relationship with his wife, Bessy, but she now believes that this wasn’t true. The actor split from Bessy, 42, in 2021, but they later reconciled in 2023.

Additionally, the woman claimed that Gatto displayed jealous and possessive behavior when she posted photos online with her actual boyfriend. She alleged that Gatto would behave rudely toward her at work whenever she rejected his advances, which made her fear that she might lose her job. This alleged emotional manipulation continued throughout her two years of employment with Gatto, the woman claimed.

The woman described an incident where Gatto allegedly grabbed her upper thigh in an elevator during a work trip. When she moved to the other side of the elevator, he allegedly told her he “knew” he would make her uncomfortable during the trip. On a separate work trip, she claimed that he invited employees to his room and insisted that they have drinks, despite Gatto not having any drinks himself.

Finally, the woman claimed that Gatto often joked about bringing girls up a freight elevator in his office, which was a two-bedroom apartment, so that they would not have to go through the main lobby.

In response to the second woman’s claims, a rep for Gatto referred the outlet to his previous statement made to Page Six in response to TikTok user joozyb’s sexual assault allegations against him.

“I have used poor judgment and as a result have violated the trust of the people I love most. But anyone who knows me at all knows full well that I wouldn’t assault anyone,” the statement read. “Working on myself is an ongoing process and I am now going to take some time away from the public eye to focus my energies where I need to.”

In her since-deleted TikTok videos on March 20, joozyb claimed that she was sexually assaulted by Gatto while he was in Milwaukee for a show in September 2023. She claimed that she and her sister ran into the comedian while at brunch and later sent him a message online about getting free tickets to the show. He allegedly gifted her the tickets and meet and greet passes.

The woman claimed that she returned home after the show and started drinking with her roommate. She said she began messaging back and forth with Gatto, who allegedly gave her directions to his hotel. She claimed that she went to the hotel and someone led her to the elevator. Though the woman did not go into specifics about the alleged assault, she claimed that “some stuff happened” and showed a photo of her bruised buttocks, which she claimed was caused by Gatto’s “teeth.”
