The “Drunk” singer revealed exactly how the two of them even managed to meet in the first place in a new interview with the New York Times in October 2019.
“I met my husband doing press for the Pistol Annies record, this time last year,” Miranda revealed at the time. “Our record came out the day after Halloween, and we did Good Morning America. My husband was doing security there for the show. My girlfriends, the Annies, saw him and knew I might be ready to hang out with someone. They invited him to our show behind my back. They plucked him for me.” So sneaky!
However, Miranda confessed that her bandmates, Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley, had a little bit of help. “My security guy Tom, he was in on it too,” she explained. “He said to me, ‘He’s here. And he’s pretty.’ [Laughs] Now the Pistol Annies have three husbands, two ex-husbands, three children, a stepson and 23 animals. We’ve done a lot in nine years!” Sounds like it.

The performer took to Twitter back on February 16, 2019 — just two days after Valentine’s Day — to reveal that she had tied the knot in secret. “In honor of Valentine’s Day, I wanted to share some news,” she wrote both there and in her Instagram announcement. “I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan Mcloughlin for loving me for … me.

In June 2020, an insider told Life & Style that the pair were happier than ever. “They’re sightseeing, making stops, cooking, sleeping under the stars — it’s been heaven,” a source said at the time.
They are also hoping to have kids. “They’ve even had long conversations about starting a family together. It’s something they both want but agreed to wait a little while,” the insider added. “Now, having all this time together with no interruptions, and with the current state of the world, they’re rethinking the timing of everything. A family might come sooner than they originally planned.”

Miranda’s marriage to Brendan is actually her second. She wed fellow country music star Blake Shelton in 2011, but their marriage ended in a very public divorce in 2015.

But she’s moved on and both she and her new hubby seem happier than ever! Brendan moved down south to be with his wife, and now, “He loves Tennessee and wouldn’t move back to New York because he’s so happy there,” a source exclusively told In Touch in July 2019.
The NYPD officer “only visits to see his family and friends,” now, the insider continued. “His friends are understanding but joke with him about how he ‘left them’ for her because he doesn’t come home often to see them.” As long as the couple is happy, right?
