‘The Voice’ Star Gwen Stefani Gushes Over Boyfriend Blake Shelton: He’s a ‘Good Dad’

No surprises here! Gwen Stefani gushed about her boyfriend, Blake Shelton, on the Today show with Hoda Kotb and Andy Cohen on Monday, September 23. The Voice coach, 49, revealed Blake, 43, is a great father figure for her three kids.

“He is a good dad,” the blonde beauty said of her man. “He’s been helping me out a lot. I literally get to the point where I’m like, ‘You’ve got to get home. Come help!’ It’s hard. I have three boys.” Sounds like Blake has become a great coparent.

Gwen’s ex-husband Gavin Rossdale doesn’t seem to mind Blake’s parenting and says he wants the best for his former flame. “I just always want her to be happy,” the 53-year-old exclusively told In Touch back in May. He also added that the two try hard to work together when it comes to parenting their children. “You know, we both manage to feed them and get them to school on time, more or less!” he joked. “They are doing really good. They’re really happy, and that’s it. We’re doing the best we can.”

Even though Blake and Gwen love to spend time with the kids, they still manage to plan date nights, like the sweet dinner date they enjoyed together back in April. “The couple spent around five hours at Craig’s restaurant drinking and enjoying the food with a bunch of friends! They tried to be subtle as they dined, but you couldn’t miss them, Blake was being pretty loud, whereas Gwen was acting more reserved,” a source exclusively told Life & Style. “[They] are in a great place and act like loved-up teenagers, it’s so cute! Their nights out together really help keep the relationship alive,” a source added.

Gwen and Gavin share three children Kingston, 13, Zuma, 11, and Apollo, 6. The two broke up in 2015, the same year Blake split from ex-wife, Miranda Lambert. Now that Gwen and Blake are working together again on the set of The Voice, fans will get an inside peek into their sweet dynamic as a couple. “She literally makes my day 100 percent better,” Blake said of the blonde beauty in the promo for the new season.
