Former Disney Star Kyle Massey Accused of Alleged Sexual Misconduct With a 13-Year-Old Girl

Former Disney star Kyle Massey is reportedly being accused of sexual misconduct with a minor. According to the unfiled lawsuit obtained by In Touch, the 27-year-old That’s So Raven alum is being accused of sending sexually explicit photos, videos and messages to a 13-year-old girl.

According to the unfiled documents, the girl (who remains anonymous) and her mother claim that they met Massey at Universal City in 2009 when the girl was just 4 years old. Massey allegedly kept in contact with the girl over the subsequent years because he allegedly wanted to help her pursue a career in entertainment.

In December 2018, Massey allegedly offered to fly the girl out to L.A. where she would stay with him and his girlfriend and he said he would help her find an agent. But days later, Massey allegedly began sending the girl “numerous sexually explicit text messages, images, and videos” including “a Snapchat image of Massey holding his penis with a corresponding text message that reads ‘LOL/Just me messing with u LOL.'”

The unfiled lawsuit claims that the girl suffered “great pain of mind, body, shock, emotional distress, physical manifestations of emotional distress, embarrassment, loss of self-esteem, disgrace, humiliation and loss of enjoyment of life,” according to the docs. Massey is being sued for “intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence per se [harmful matter sent with intent of seduction of a minor], negligence per se [attempting to commit a lewd act with a minor] and negligence per se [annoying or molesting a minor],” and the girl is seeking $1.5 million in damages. Massey’s rep did not immediately respond to In Touch‘s request for comment.

On Saturday, March 16, Massey’s mother took to Instagram to defend her son. “KYLE MASSEY IS THE VICTIM! Where is the justice for MEN?!” she wrote. “Women get to say and do what they want and file lawsuits under JANE DOE! THIS is #hetoo.”
