Emma Watson’s Pals Don’t Think Billionaire Gonzalo Hevia Bailleres Is ‘Boyfriend Material’ (Exclusive)

Emma Watson’s relationship with billionaire businessman Gonzalo Hevia Baillères is heating up fast!

“Not a lot of guys can sweep her off her feet but this guy has,” a source tells In Touch. “The problem is he does not have a good reputation.”

Baillères’ ex-girlfriend Belinda Peregrín penned a 2025 diss track called “Heterocromía” that fans have speculated is about the entrepreneur, whose family is one of the wealthiest in Mexico.

According to Remezcla, the title not only refers to a rare condition Baillères has, in which a person’s eyes are different colors, but the Cheetah Girls 2 alum also appears to reference his initials GBH when singing about a “spoiled rich boy.”

Friends of the 35-year-old actress and activist “are all warning her to protect her heart, that he’s not really boyfriend material, but she’s rushing full speed ahead anyway,” admits the source.

Watson was first linked to Baillères in late 2025 — and the couple all but confirmed romance rumors with a PDA-packed sighting at a Mexico airport on Wednesday, March 4.

“Gonzalo operates in a completely different world from Hollywood and Emma loves that,” says the  source. “Most guys are intimidated by her success, but he’s so successful in his own right, her fame doesn’t faze him one little bit.”

What that Harry Potter alum doesn’t love is all the speculation.

“She actually finds it super annoying that people are trying to rain on her parade,” reveals the source, adding that “anyone that says something negative about” Baillères “is going to be at risk of getting cut off.”

Watson “says she feels like he could be the real deal and she’s not going to risk ruining it by being scared,” the source explains. “Gonzalo has been nothing but a gentleman. He’s treated her like a princess and she’s happy.”
