Emily Ratajkowski Files Settlement in Divorce 2 Years After Split From Sebastian Bear-McClard
Emily Ratajkowski is close to being officially a single woman after submitting a proposed judgment in her divorce from Sebastian Bear-McClard.
According to court records obtained by In Touch, Emily, 33, submitted a “stipulation – settlement” on December 19, 2024.
Emily and Sebastian, 43, also filed affidavits on the same day. The model’s lawyer also filed a proposed judgment. The court docket shows the filings as still being processed by the court.
All signs point to the divorce being signed off on in the near future. Emily filed a notice of divorce on September 8, 2022.
The case has had no movement until last month. The divorce came after rumors that Sebastian had stepped out on the marriage. A source told Page Six that Sebastian was a “dog.”
Emily and Sebastian wed in February 2018 and share a 3-year-old son, Sylvester, born in March 2021. In March 2023, Emily spoke out about her divorce during an appearance on the “Going Mental with Eileen Kelly” podcast. “I didn’t have the courage to leave for a long time,” Emily revealed.
“I was really, really unhappy. I was 100 pounds and I had just had a baby,” she added.
“I got really skinny because I was not OK. I tried everything else. I tried to take antidepressants. I was sure that something was wrong with me.” Emily explained the lessons she learned from hard times.
She explained she often threw out her own priorities “in order to be loved, or to be chosen.” “I just totally abandoned my own boundaries and my own ideas of what is important,” she said.
“Now I’m super-grounded in them. I have basically curated my life exactly to how I want it to be.” Emily also addressed the idea that a woman needs a man on the podcast. She said, “We have this — especially women — every piece of media we consume from the second we’re born is basically this idea of finding a partner that completes and validates you.”
Since the split, Emily has been linked to a series of high-profile men. The model dated comedian Pete Davidson for two months in 2022. In December 2022, a source close to Emily told People after the breakup with Pete, “Em is single and totally happy. She will always prioritize her son, but enjoys dating when she has time. She enjoys her independence. She doesn’t have plans to see Pete again. She had fun with him, but she realized she didn’t want it to become anything else. She likes her life as it is.”
Emily and Brad Pitt hung out for a bit after her split from Sebastian, according to reports.
A source said at the time told People, “It’s the perfect timing right now. There is nothing like Brad Pitt cheering you up… She wants to get to know him better.”
Emily and comedian Eric Andre also had a brief fling in early 2023. Eric posted NSFW photos of himself shot by Emily on Valentine’s Day.
A source told E! News that Emily had broken up with Eric days before he posted the photos on social media.
