Poor Duane “Dog” Chapman. Just weeks after his wife, Beth Chapman, passed away, his Dog the Bounty Hunter shop in Colorado was burglarized on Thursday, August 1. According to The Blast, thousands of dollars in clothing were stolen along with “Dog and Beth” merchandise from their various TV shows. Additionally, the thieves stole personal items that belonged to his late wife. Beth’s items were on display to honor the reality star after she died.

“The official Dog and Beth merchandise store was robbed on Thursday,” a family spokesperson told In Touch about the alleged incident. “Not only did the thieves take thousands of dollars of clothing, these criminals took priceless personal belongings of our beloved Beth, including tributes to her kindly left by our amazing fans. We are working with our friends in law enforcement to find these perpetrators and are offering a cash reward to anyone who provides information about their identity. Whoever did this, you better watch out. Dog is coming for you.”

On Friday, August 2, the 66-year-old took to Twitter to vent about what happened. “The Bible says it is an unforgivable sin to steal from the dead,” he wrote. “LARGE CASH REWARD FOR ANY INFORMATION FOR WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS!!!”

Of course, people couldn’t help but show the Colorado native some love. One person wrote, “Well, that’s total BS. Believe in karma, they will get theirs,” while another echoed, “I know we all miss and love Beth very much, but you do not steal personal items. Have a heart and take them back now. @DogBountyHunter, I’m so sorry someone was so ignorant to do that.” A third person chimed in, writing, “This is so sick. I’m sorry you’re going through this already hard time. My prayers are with you and your family @DogBountyHunter.”

It hasn’t been easy for Duane these days ever since Beth sadly lost her battle with throat cancer on June 26. “It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain. Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven,” the WGN personality tweeted at the time. “We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side.”

Since then, Duane has been trying to keep busy. “I don’t know what to do. As long as I stay bounty hunting, it’s the only thing that keeps my mind off how things are right now,” he told Radar Online. “I just have to keep working! Being alone is really bad.” But for now, Duane is coping as best as he can. “I’m just taking each day as it comes!” he stated.
