Dog the Bounty Hunter pressing charges
arrives at Comedy Central's Roast of Charlie Sheen held at Sony Studios on September 10, 2011 in Los Angeles, California.

A lawyer for reality star Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman is denying allegations of assault following a verbal altercation at the Denver International Airport last week. Andrew Brettler told Entertainment Tonight that the former Dog the Bounty Hunter star did nothing wrong.

“There was no assault. A young man approached Dog at the Denver Airport in a very hostile and aggressive manner, clearly looking to start trouble,” Brettler, told the outlet. “He insulted Dog and Beth, hurled racial slurs at Dog, and threatened to ‘cut’ Beth if she could ‘get out of her wheelchair.'” He added that the Chapmans “intend to press charges against this individual and his father for harassment and for disturbing the peace.” Watch the video above to see for yourself, and don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube ChannelWarning: Viewer discretion is advised.

In the video, Dog and Beth can be seen getting into an elevator with an airport employee, and they appeared to be trying to leave the situation. Dog does eventually yell back, “Let’s go outside, brah.” However, sources close to America’s top fugitive catcher told The Blast that when he said, “Let’s go outside,” he was speaking to his security team.

The shocking allegations came just days after it was revealed that his wife was diagnosed with cancer — again. Beth was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday, Nov. 27, for emergency surgery, but is now home.

On Dec. 1, her husband exclusively told In Touch, “She’s much more comfortable now she can breathe, but she just wanted to come back to Colorado, she loves it here. They told us they didn’t want her to leave the hospital, but she was adamant, she just wanted to be home.”

Previously, Beth had been cancer free for over a year, but she only had a 50/50 shot at beating the stage 2 throat cancer the first time. This time around, the “life-threatening blockage” is twice as big as a blockage she had in the past, and what’s worse, the cancer may have spread to her lungs. Beth underwent a biopsy, and she and Dog are currently awaiting the results of those tests.
