Danny Torrance Is Back in ‘Doctor Sleep,’ the Epically Creepy Sequel to ‘The Shining’

Remember how “redrum” used to haunt your dreams? Well, get ready for more nightmares, because Danny Torrance is back in Doctor Sleep. In the sequel to The Shining, he’s all grown up, but that doesn’t mean he’s grown out of his power. In the flick, Golden Globe-winner Ewan McGregor plays the all-grown-up Dan as he’s forced to confront his traumatizing past. When he meets Abra, a teenage girl who has the “shine,” the two must team up to stop those who would hunt them down for their powers — but Dan still can’t quite escape what happened to him back at the Overlook Hotel.
