Demi Moore Getting ‘Cozy’ With Rumored New Flame Andrew Garfield: ‘The Spark Started Months Ago’

As Demi Moore made her way to the  podium  after winning the Golden Globe for her performance in The Substance, presenter Andrew Garfield guided her up to the stage by taking her hand, then he sweetly kissed it before she began her acceptance speech. The Amazing Spider-Man actor and the About Last Night actress later hugged and put their arms around each other while posing for photographers. Paris Match’s TikTok account posted a video of Demi with her hands on Andrew’s as they talked closely inside the Beverly Hilton hotel ballroom during a break in the telecast. She’s 62. He’s 41. But their 21-year age difference hardly matters.

“They definitely seemed cozy,” a source exclusively tells In Touch. “Now speculation is rampant that a romance is brewing between Demi and Andrew — and everyone is here for it.” And while their Golden Globes moment put a spotlight on their chemistry, the source adds, “the spark started months ago.”

Indeed, the January awards show wasn’t their first encounter. In September 2024, Demi was photographed with her arm draped over Andrew’s shoulder as they chatted inside a party at the Toronto International Film Festival. More sightings of the pair have emerged since the Globes: In mid-January, a tipster told Instagram gossip account DeuxMoi that Andrew was staying at the Ghost actress’ home near Sun Valley, Idaho. “That sounds about right, because that’s where she feels more comfortable, away from all the Hollywood chatter,” says the source.

Two more sightings in the Gem State followed. One reader reported seeing them attending “a fundraising event together,” DeuxMoi revealed, while another Idaho resident spotted the stars “at our local ski mountain.” Then on January 27, DeuxMoi speculated that the Tony Award-winning actor and the new Oscar-nominated actress might be meeting up in Britain as well after Andrew was spotted at a North London gym while Demi attended a Q&A and screening for The Substance at a London theater on January 26. (She’s also expected in the U.K. capital for the BAFTA Awards, where she’s up for best actress, on February 16.) “Demi doesn’t just jump into relationships anymore,” says the source, noting that she married second husband Bruce Willis, 69, after just four months of dating. “She gets to know someone first.”

Demi and Andrew have nothing to lose. “They’re both single. She’s more gorgeous than ever, and he’s not only handsome but super charming,” says the source, adding that Andrew seemed smitten — “you could see it on his face” — at the Globes. “And everyone knows Demi has an attraction to younger men,” including third husband Ashton Kutcher, 47, who’s 15 years her junior.

In her 2019 memoir, Inside Out, Demi accused Ashton of cheating on her before their 2011 split. “But Andrew is different than Ashton,” says the source. “He’s mature, empathetic and in touch with his feelings. He ticks all the boxes, and then some.”
