Demi Moore ‘Did Everything She Could’ to Keep ex Ashton Kutcher ‘Out of Compromising Situations’

Ashton Kutcher is promising to anyone who’ll listen that he didn’t get up to any mischief at all with P. Diddy back in the day – and pals say he’s got ex wife Demi Moore to thank for that, as she kept him on the tightest of leashes and was not impressed by the disgraced rapper’s debauched behavior one bit. 

“For all the hype around her sexy movie roles of the nineties and the image that came with all of that, Demi is a sexually conservative person who wouldn’t be caught dead at an orgy, and that goes double for the years she was with Ashton,” reveals a longtime close friend of Demi.

“They had a vibrant love life when they were together, for sure, but it didn’t involve group situations and it didn’t involve a lot of ‘celebrity partying’ either.”

The No Strings Attached star, 46, first met Demi, 61, through mutual friends in 2003. Despite their 15-year age gap, they fell madly in love and married in 2005, with Ashton becoming an active part of Demi’s kids’ lives. The Ghost star shares three kids with ex husband Bruce Willis.

The Guardian actor was only 25 when they first met and not very experienced as far as Hollywood goes. Luckily, according to the source, his wife helped him navigate the do’s and don’t’s of the sordid city – especially when it came to anything perverse in the industry.

“Demi did everything she could to keep Ashton out of compromising and tempting situations, and that definitely kept him away from these crazy situations you’re hearing about in Diddy’s case.” 

“I think Ashton owes Demi a giant thank you for keeping him on such a short leash during what would have been his peak partying years under other circumstances.”

“Sure, Demi had to tolerate Ashton’s friendship with a complete low-life like Danny Masterson, but that was a relationship that pre-dated her even meeting Ashton.” 

“I don’t think she ever allowed him to get as close to Diddy, with good reason!”

Despite the insider telling that Ashton avoided the worst of Diddy’s depravity, another source previously told In Touch that his association with the alleged sex criminal could give him a rough time as he attempts to rebuild his career.

With fans already sharpening their pitchforks over the Iowa native’s letter of support he sent to the presiding judge in former That ‘70s Show costar and friend Danny Masterson’s sentencing hearing for double rape, that insider advised, “Ashton needs to pick his friends better.”

To make matters worse, even after releasing an apology along with his wife Mila Kunis for the Masterson letter, his name keeps popping up in connection with his “fast friend” – as he put it to James Cordon on Late Late Show in 2018 – the alleged sex trafficker Sean Combs.

“The spotlight has turned on him for reveling in his relationships with a couple of Hollywood’s most notorious stars,” that source said. “He’s going to have a tough time salvaging his career after this Diddy mess!”
