The Busbys Still Have No Idea When They Can Move Back Into Their Home After Mold Fiasco
Time will tell! Danielle Busby and her husband, Adam Busby, relocated to a temporary home with their kids after discovering their abode had a serious mold problem, and it looks like their living situation is still up in the air. The OutDaughtered star gave an update about the ordeal during an exclusive interview with In Touch, revealing that she has no idea when they’ll be moving back in.
“I am not quite sure yet what the future holds with our living situation,” the TLC alum, 35, told In Touch exclusively while promoting the newest screen-free coding toy from Learning Resources, Coding Critters. “We are still living this ‘mold house’ life and hoping our home can be complete soon.”
As fans may recall, Adam, 37, and Danielle were presented with some scary news when an expert visited their home on the June 18th episode. “The results are terrifying,” the mom revealed during the show. “The whole upstairs seems to be covered with mold.”
Danielle’s husband, Adam, later shared a walk-through video of their “sick house” in August and gave followers a quick tour of the empty place. “So [to] all you people think that we’ve just moved and [are] never coming back, we’re still in the middle of it,” he said. The reality star noted how he missed the abode, adding, “We’re just doing walk-throughs, now, and they’re almost done with it.”
Luckily, things are starting to look up for the family! Danielle revealed the girls just started school and she said they are “loving it!” The reality star told In Touch, “I actually wrote a blog post about keeping the learning going all summer long and preparing them for back-to-school. On the first day we did all got up bright and early because it was a new morning routine.”
“We dropped Blayke off at school to her 3rd grade classroom and then brought the quints to their preschool,” she continued. “This year is a big change for us, as Riley started the Kindergarten class at the quints school and she will go everyday, just like Blayke.”
