‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Catelynn Lowell Gives Birth to Baby No. 4 With Husband Tyler Baltierra

Welcome to the family! Catelynn Baltierra (née Lowell) gave birth to baby No. 4 with her husband, Tyler Baltierra. The longtime members of the Teen Mom franchise are celebrating the arrival of their daughter on Saturday, August 28.

“She’s here and she’s perfect,” Tyler, 29, wrote via his Instagram Stories while sharing a video of the newborn’s hospital bassinet. He also added crying face, heart eyes and red rose emojis.

Catelynn, 29, and Tyler previously revealed the joyous news they were expecting on February 22, just two months after she suffered a miscarriage. 

“This rainbow was worth the storm. Baby Baltierra coming soon,” the reality star mom wrote on Instagram, along with sharing a photo of their daughters Novalee Reign and Vaeda Luma. This pregnancy marks baby No. 4 for Catelynn and Tyler, as the MTV couple placed their firstborn daughter, Carly, for adoption in 2009.

Catelynn’s use of the word “rainbow” in her caption was especially heartfelt. When an individual gets pregnant after having a miscarriage, the child is often called a “rainbow baby.” In December 2020, the Michigan native made the brave decision to share her struggle with her fans.

“I WAS pregnant and excited to share it with all of you and I am heartbroken to reveal that I lost the baby,” Catelynn wrote at the time. “I am sharing this to let you know you are not alone. We are all in this together and everyone experiences pain, loss and the recovery from it and I am still in the thick of dealing with this loss as it was recent and all the emotional trauma that follows such a loss in an already horrifically hard year.” She also thanked her followers for their “love, prayers and support.”

A month later, Catelynn reflected on how she able to cope with her miscarriage during an interview with In Touch. “I was able to have these emotions, feel these emotions and keep going on with my day-to-day life,” she told the publication. “Eventually there will be a little soul that is ready — and that will happen when it’s meant to happen.”

We’re so glad she was right! On February 23, Catelynn took to Instagram again. This time, to share the sex of her baby! The 16 & Pregnant alum announced she and Tyler were expecting a little girl sometime in the summer.

Prior to their little one’s arrival, Catelynn gushed over her husband in a sweet message. “Happy Father’s Day to the best dad our girls could ever dream of!!!” she wrote. “You are so supportive, caring, kind and teach them how a man SHOULD treat a lady!!! I believe that’s why God blessed us with all girls because they needed a great man to show them how they deserve to be loved.”
