Casandra “Cassie” Ventura has announced she’s pregnant and expecting a baby boy with husband Alex Fine. An insider exclusively tells In Touch that they’re very much in the honeymoon phase whilst excitedly looking ahead to their new life as a family of five.

“Cassie and Alex are the most adorable couple, even after seven years together they’re still so in love,” the insider shares. “Her face literally lights up when he walks in the room, he’s her Prince Charming.”

“Her life with him and their two girls is so wholesome, he’s not just the best partner, he’s the best dad, Cassie feels very blessed to have him by her side for this journey,” continues the insider. “She adores her girls, but she’s thrilled to be having a son, it’s just a different ball game and something she’s always wanted to experience.”

The insider says Cassie, 38, “can’t wait” to see her husband, 32, interact with their “little boy” and he’s “just as excited” for those moments as she is.

The proud parents are even “planning to do a babymoon in Hawaii soon,” as they “want to get away and have some R&R before the baby arrives,” according to the insider.

“They’re going to take the girls with them and bring along a nanny to help out so that they can get some private time, and some family time, while they’re away,” the insider explains.

Cassie announced she was pregnant in February by sharing adorable snapshots of her and Alex’s two girls – Frankie, 5, and Sunny, 3 – posing next to her baby bump. She later revealed that she was having a boy in a sweet belated birthday tribute for Alex that she shared to her Instagram on March 13.

“There aren’t words to describe how grateful I am that I get to do this life with you! The laughter and pure joy that I get to experience with you is beyond any of my dreams and manifestations,” she wrote next to a carousel of photos of the couple together.

“You’ve taken care of me and my heart like no other, you’re hands down the best girl dad and I’m SO excited to see you now become a father to OUR SON!” she continued. “So happy to have you home again!!! The girls and I (and French Fry) absolutely adore you and have missed you so much. These past few months were hard without you here, but we are so proud and can’t wait to see you shine.”

Cassie and Alex publicly confirmed their relationship in December 2018, shortly after she ended her on-again, off-again relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs. Less than one year later, they said “I do” in a backyard wedding ceremony that took place in Malibu, California, on August 28, 2019.

Frankie was born only a few months later in December 2019 and they welcomed Sunny in March 2021.

In August 2023, the singer took to Instagram to celebrate her fourth anniversary with her “best friend.”

“There’s no one like you in this world,” she wrote at the time. “You have the biggest heart and the funniest sense of humor, your curiosity about life still surprises me and warms my heart everyday. I grow more and more and more and more in love with you as time goes on and I wouldn’t want it any other way.”
