Bow Wow Calls Ex-Girlfriend Ciara a ‘Bitch’ During Club Performance and Fans Are Not Having It

Talk about a throwback. Bow Wow called out his ex-girlfriend Ciara during a recent club performance, and fans were not happy with the rapper. The 32-year-old sang his 2005 hit tune called “Like You” — which featured Ciara, 33 — at the Elleven 45 Lounge in Atlanta. In a video clip, Bow Wow stopped rapping for a second and said into the microphone, “Ayo, I had this bitch first. You know that, right?”

Of course, fans took to Twitter to talk about the incident. One person wrote, “Ciara is living rent free in her ex’s heads just from living a happy life and enjoying her happy and healthy marriage with Russell Wilson. Major ‘L’ for Bow Wow,” while another echoed, “Ciara and Russell living their best life in 2019 while Bow Wow looking still stuck in 2002.” A third chimed in, writing, “Bow Wow says, ‘I had that bitch first’ (referring to Ciara). Imagine having to talk about someone you dated over 14 years ago at your performance because nobody was paying attention to you.” Bow Wow has yet to apologize for his disrespectful comments, and the “Level Up” crooner hasn’t responded to the video, either.

The former flames dated from 2004 to 2006. They were apparently engaged for a short time before they called it quits due to rumors going around that Bow Wow cheated on the R&B singer.

In February 2018, during an episode of Growing Up Hip Hop, the reality star revealed he popped the question to two different women in his life. “You want commitment, most women want that,” he said after a discussion he had with Jermaine Dupri’s daughter, Shaniah Maudlin, about her current relationship. “Those are things that I’ve tried in my life. I’ve tried twice. I was engaged to Ciara, and I was engaged to Erica [Mena].”

Bow Wow didn’t elaborate on either proposal, but he did explain that he has regrets about prior relationships. “You know, I let things in the past that I know was wrong affect my engagement,” he said. “That’s what was eating me alive. Other than that, me and Erica would still be together. We would have never broken up. I didn’t know how to handle, and I let it crumble. I let something that really shouldn’t even got away.”

Meanwhile, the Texas native is happily married to the NFL star — they share one daughter named Sienna Princess Wilson, 2. Ciara also has a son named Future, 5, from a previous relationship with rapper Future. The brunette beauty raved about her hubby at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards in May. “You know, my husband’s pretty awesome, and you know, it’s been an incredible journey,” she gushed to Access Hollywood. “Time goes by so fast, and we’ve been having the time of our lives. We call it organized chaos because obviously with him doing football and me doing music, the worlds are both moving fast and kinda like in two different directions but sometimes parallel at the same time.”
