‘Big Brother 28’ Cast Member Kamu Kirk Slammed for Joking About George Floyd’s Death in Resurfaced Clip

Big Brother 28 contestant Kamu Kirk is catching heat from fans online over a resurfaced clip of him.

In December, the MMA fighter, 32, posted multiple Instagram Stories — which are currently saved in his highlights — of him watching a person in clear distress get arrested.

In the video taken in a parking lot seemingly at an apartment complex, Kirk explained that “some dude was losing his mind, [saying] ‘I need help, I need help,'” with Kirk walking toward the altercation. Kirk then filmed the man who screamed as police try to get him in a squad car, and the man can be heard yelling, “shots fired,” but there were no gunshot sounds.

The reality TV personality laughed as he declared, “people [are] cheering.” As the man started yelling “I can’t breathe” multiple times, Kirk reiterated to the camera and joked, “Bro thinks he’s George Floyd.”

“People are crazy, man. I’m going back inside,” Kirk said to the camera. “I am gonna take that spot though.”

The videos are still up under Kirk’s Instagram Story highlights, and some of the footage was posted on X. Fans took to the comment section slamming Kirk.

“oh my god? this made me sick,” one admitted. “he should be removed.”

“Making fun of murder victims. Super cool and christ-like,” a second sarcastically wrote.

“he is disgusting,” a third added.

In May 2020, George Floyd was murdered by Police Officer Derek Chauvin in Minneapolis when he was 46 years old. Chauvin knelt on Floyd’s neck for nine and a half minutes, and while Floyd was on the ground, he declared, “I can’t breathe” multiple times. The incident sparked national outrage.
