Going strong. Amanda Bynes’ fiancé, Paul Michael, confirms they are “still together” and “doing good” in an exclusive statement to In Touch on Tuesday, May 5. Michael’s relationship status update comes one day after her lawyer, David Esquibias, said the actress is not pregnant following the couple’s sonogram announcement.

The 34-year-old first revealed she was expecting with a “Baby on board” caption on March 17. Michael also posted a similar message on his own page, taking to Instagram with a pic of their child’s first ultrasound. “Baby in the making,” he wrote.

Bynes and Michael have seemingly been doing much better in the wake of their public split on March 8. Even though they parted ways for a short period of time, the couple quickly fueled reconciliation rumors with their sentimental posts about each other.

On March 9, Michael shared two photos of them holding hands, both of which flaunted their engagement rings. “My baby,” he captioned one of the images. She also took to Instagram with a pic of them that same day which read, “My love.”

The duo reportedly grew close after meeting in Alcoholics Anonymous classes. They only dated for about three months before he popped the question and both of them had been sober “for about a year” by the time he asked her to marry him.

“Engaged to tha [sic] love of my life,” the former Nickelodeon star gushed in her now-deleted announcement shared on February 14.

In another post introducing her man on social media, Bynes couldn’t help but gush over her beau. “Hey everyone, this is Paul, my fiancé. I’m so lucky. As you can see, he’s drop-dead gorgeous. He’s also the best person on the face of the earth,” she said.

The Amanda Show alum has been under the control of a conservatorship since 2014, so if the star does plan on tying the knot with her beau in the near future, she would need approval from her mother and conservator, Lynn Bynes.

As of now, Bynes is “not living in a sober living facility” after being ordered to seek treatment at a mental health facility by the judge overseeing her conservatorship case, Esquibias told Us Weekly on May 4. “She’s sheltering at a safe environment.”
