Jeana Keough is dealing with terrifying health woes amid her cancer battle.
On Monday, July 21, the 70-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County alum’s daughter Kara Bosworth shared a photo of her mom lying in a hospital bed and revealed her health status.
“Jeana was scheduled to get the G-tube this morning so she can get some nutrition. She hasn’t been able to eat a meal for 2 weeks, so she’s extremely depleted,” Bosworth shared on Instagram. “We uncovered a DVT clot in her leg, and now an infection, too. The feeding tube can’t be put directly into her stomach until there’s clarity on the infection.”
“Chemo and radiation is temporarily paused so we can figure this out but you better believe Jeana is insisting she only had a fake fever’ and that she’s fine to continue with the surgery,” Bosworth continued. “Prayer needs: that this infection clears quickly, that she can get the G-tube surgery imminently so that hangry Jeana doesn’t murder someone, and that we can quickly resume treatment so that this torment can be put in the rear view mirror.”

Last week, Bosworth created a GoFundMe page and explained that funds “will go directly toward expenses, everyday living costs, nutrition, and the additional support she needs while undergoing treatment.”
“Because her job is commission-based, the loss of income has created an enormous financial burden at the very time she needs to focus all of her energy on healing,” Bosworth further noted. “Now that I’m here in Orange County and seeing firsthand what she’s facing, I realize even more how much support she needs — not just while I’m here, but after I return home.”
Former castmates of Jeana’s have taken to social media asking the public to help their friend through her grueling cancer journey.

“We love you, Momma Jeana. ❤️ Keeping you in our prayers every step of the way,” Tamra Judge wrote on Instagram Sunday, July 19. “If you’re able to support her, the GoFundMe link is in my story and in my bio. Every donation, no matter the size, truly helps. 🙏.”
Vicki Gunvalson shared her own post that day, writing, “By now most of you have heard my incredible friend @jeanakeough is battling cancer. Her daughter Kara explained her journey on this below GoFundMe post. Please donate if you can, and lift her up in healing ❤️🩹 prayers.”
At the time of publication, almost $68,000 has been raised according to the GoFundMe page.
