An alleged casting call for 90 Day: The Last Resort looking for “therapists and coaches” with “out-of-the-box methods” was recently revealed.

The notice was posted on Reddit and shared by 90 Day Fiancé blogger Alexa Pomegranate on Instagram on Friday, May 23. In Touch has reached out to TLC and Sharp Entertainment to try to confirm the contents of the Reddit post.

“Are you a bold, forward-thinking therapist or coach who breaks the mold with unconventional methods?” the alleged casting call message read. “Do you take a unique approach in your practice to help clients grow and evolve? Do you empower your clients to step beyond their comfort zones and create lasting transformation?”

The notice also included requirements for those applying.

“Seeking therapists and coaches with diverse backgrounds and methodologies. Must be comfortable participating in unconventional therapeutic activities,” it continued. “Must have the ability to speak up and challenge clients. Emphasis on creativity, non-traditional methods, and a willingness to step outside the comfort zones.”

The message concluded by saying, “If you’re ready to showcase your unique therapeutic approach, we want to hear from YOU for a returning reality series,” and added a link with an application for those interested.

“I’ve signed up for reality tv shows so I get casting and commercial notices. This is one for The Last Resort if you wonder where they find these people,” the Redditor wrote alongside a screenshot of notice.

Several fans slammed the casting call for not mentioning any sort of licensing or degree requirements.

“Interesting that it doesn’t mention any kind of licensing requirement for being a therapist or coach… Why am I not surprised?” wrote one person.

Another person added, “No mention of education or qualifications. Guess they’ll take self-proclaimed therapists. And clout seekers.”

A third fan chimed in and said, “Well, the ‘therapists’ that they casted for [90 Day: The Last Resort season 2] all obviously completely failed at the third requirement because none of them could stand up to Florian [Sukaj] or Natalie [Mordovtseva]!! I find it funny that it doesn’t list (under requirements) that you need a doctorate, certificate or anything of the sort to actually practice on the couples-and it shows!!

90 Day: The Last Resort season 2 previously came under fire after fans accused one of the three therapists on the show of not being a licensed professional. Reba Corrine Thomas, whose Instagram profile describes her as the “sex and intimacy coach” on the series, says that she’s a “sex educator, entertainer and entrepreneur.”

Thomas founded an organization called Sexpert Consultations. However, whether or not she has a license to practice therapy remains unclear on the company’s website.

“We are committed to providing factual sexual health information through highly engaging events executed by our trained consultants who are empowered to educate and entertain our consumers with our collection of curated services and high-quality adult products,” the About Us page on the site read. “All Sexpert Consultants are ambassadors for the American Sexual Health Association (ASHA) and have received at least 90-days of training through our Sexpert Consultant Certification program.”

ASHA did not have any current opportunities to become an ambassador for the program, but it did have information on the program.

“Consider getting involved with ASHA. Our volunteer program runs in tandem with our Ambassador program – it allows you to be as involved as you want to be and connects you with our global network of supporters,” the blurb said. “ASHA ambassadors are sexual health advocates that use social media to share important information. The ambassador program allows you to share information on a host of sexual health topics straight from your inbox.”
