‘Alaskan Bush People’ Stars Bear Brown and Raiven Adams Are Giving Their Relationship ‘Another Try’

A second shot at love? Bear Brown and his former fiancée, Raiven Adams, previously decided to just be friends after announcing their pregnancy, but now they’ve had a change of heart. On Monday, September 30, the Alaskan Bush People star told fans that neither of them had fully moved on — and, because of that, they were revisiting the idea of being in a relationship. He shared the happy news in a video posted to his private Instagram account.

“Hey everybody out there, I wanted to let y’all know that Raiven and I have decided to give it another shot,” Bear, 31, revealed. “After having been separated for a little bit, we found that we still have feelings for each other, so we’re gonna give it another try. Thank you everybody out there. Stay awesome and God bless.”

On her own Instagram Story, Raiven, 21, chimed in with how they’re hoping to make things work in round two. “What will you and Bear do differently together this time?” a fan asked while she was hosting an Instagram Q&A. “Stop reading your opinions or caring what y’all think,” she answered frankly. “Not in a mean way,” she clarified. “I think we just cared too much [about] what people thought before.”

The mom-to-be has definitely placed a high value on other’s opinions in the past. In mid-September, she even quit Instagram, citing the haters as the reason before she eventually made her return. “I’m always quick to want to prove haters wrong so they don’t get the satisfaction of winning when they are wrong, but I’m realizing responding at all is letting you win because you are getting the attention you clearly need,” she told her followers in her final post before briefly deleting her account. She also cited the hate she dealt with as one of the reasons she called off her engagement.

“It’s been a long battle for me to decide what I should do. What I should say,” she wrote. “I think this life is too much for me. The drama, the articles, the harassment. The mean people who have nothing better to do. And due to that, and several other reasons, me and Bear have decided to stay friends. Sometimes two people are meant to be in each other’s [lives] … but not in the way they thought. Wishing the wolf pack all of the best luck on every adventure.”

Though it’s not clear if the couple is just dating or if their engagement is back on, they do have the family’s support. Little sister Rain Brown, who has become close with her brother’s model girlfriend, shared a smiling emoji in the comments.
