‘ABP’ Star Bam Bam Brown ‘Fed Up’ With His Family Not ‘Respecting’ His Girlfriend — but There’s a Reason Why

Fans watched Noah Brown‘s new wife, Rhain Brown, butt heads with his family on last season of Alaskan Bush People, but it turns out that his big brother Bam Bam Brown has been having some relationship trouble, too. Though the Discovery Channel star has been seeing reality TV producer Allison Kagan for a while, sources say his family isn’t giving her the respect she deserves — and he’s totally over it. According to Radar Online, the Browns have been overlooking Bam Bam’s girlfriend and their relationship for too long. Now that the star is seeing how they’re treating his siblings’ significant overs, he’s done.

“[He’s] completely fed up,” an insider close to the family told Radar. “They do not show Bam’s woman, Allison, the same level of respect, and it really just sets him off because they’ve known her longer than any of his brother’s new fame-hungry girls.” The Browns seem to take issue with the fact that the producer would rather be behind the camera than in front of it. The fact is, though, that Bam would rather live his life off-screen, too.

Per Radar, part of the family’s poor relationship with Allison stems from the fact that she was essentially their boss. She was a supervising producer on the show from 2015 to 2018, which is actually how she and Bam Bam met. But the family doesn’t seem to have issues with other crew members. Little sister Rain Brown recently gave a shout-out to production, and in 2018, Bear introduced fans to female members of the crew on his Instagram. So what’s the problem?

Apparently, the couple thought about quitting. At a moment when the future of the show was up in the air, the pair decided to explore their options. “[They] had no desire to return to TV, and they didn’t need to,” a source told Radar in 2017. Though the paycheck convinced both of them to stick around, the insider reported that they still have plans to bounce as soon as the show is over. “Once the program is done, which will happen eventually, they are out of there.”
