90 Day Fiancé’s Paola Mayfield Shares Breastfeeding Photo With Son and Shuts Down Criticism: ‘#ProudMom’

The joys of motherhood! Paola Mayfield shared a beaming new photo of herself breastfeeding her precious one-year-old son, Axel, with the hopes of “normalizing” it for other women. The 90 Day Fiancé alum was all smiles while nursing her bundle of joy at the Aeropuerto Internacional El Dorado as they prepared to catch a flight together.

“Boob ready for departure ✈️ and baby ready for a nap,” the 32-year-old captioned her new photo.

Several fans showed love to the former TLC star for posting the portrait. “It’s those negative comments that always made me afraid to feed my child in public,” one of Paola’s followers explained, adding, “[Normalizing] breastfeeding should[n’t] even be a thing because it should be seen as normal but, unfortunately, we have all these judgmental people.”

Another addressed why they felt it should be more private at times. “I’m all for breastfeeding your baby where ever they’re hungry but just pulling out your [breast] in front of my 12-year-old boy is a little much you can cover yourself because there’s no reason to pull your [breast] out in front of everyone unless your seeking attention,” they wrote.

After reading that comment, Paola decided to fire back. “If you know who I am, you know what I stand up for, so don’t sugar me! Because of people like you, there are so many women that aren’t breastfeeding their babies. Instead of worrying about a woman using their breasts to feed their babies, maybe worry about your husband or son watching porn, not a woman feeding a son,” the TV personality responded.

Just a few days ago, the Colombia native celebrated her son’s first birthday. Paola and her husband, Russ, 32, both took to social media with sentimental messages about their little one. “Don’t need a day to celebrate you are here! Everyday is a celebration because you are here with us,” the brunette beauty wrote. “You made us a family.”

Russ added, “You’re loved beyond measure and we are so proud and thankful to have you part of our life together!”

Paola and her hubby have been married since October 2013 and they’re still going strong today.
