’90 Day Fiancé’ Couple Paola and Russ Mayfield Celebrate Son Axel’s First Birthday: ‘You Made Us a Family’

Growing up so fast! 90 Day Fiancé couple Paola Mayfield and her husband, Russ Mayfield, celebrated their son Axel’s first birthday with new adorable Star Wars themed photos. Taking to Instagram on Friday, January 3, the reality star mom gushed over what an incredible experience motherhood has been.

“I don’t need a day to celebrate you are here! Everyday is a celebration because you are here with us,” Paola, 32, wrote about their bundle of joy. “You made us a family, happy first birthday little angel.”

In the pics tagged in Bogotá, Colombia, their little one was all smiles while surrounded several yellow, grey and black balloons, some of which spelled out, “Feliz Cumpleaños.”

A few fellow 90DF stars even showed love in the comments. “Happy birthday Axel,” Paul and Karine Staehle replied.

“Happy Bday Axel, maybe mom and dad will order a Cameo for you from Uncle David and Aunt Annie lol jk happy B-day,” David Toborowsky also commented on Paola’s other post.

Russ, 32, recently shared a heartwarming message of his own on his son’s actual B-day, January 1. “Your first year has flown by and it has been amazing! Boy have you grown since I first caught you in my arms as we welcomed you into the world,” the TV personality shared. “You’ve had many first times and there are so many more to look forward to. You’re loved beyond measure and we are so proud and thankful to have you part of our life together!”

The lovebirds have been going strong for years, having tied the knot back in October 2013. Viewers grew to love Paola and her hubby, Russ, when they documented their love story on the first season of the TLC series about long-distance relationships.

The dynamic duo later returned for the popular spinoff Happily Ever After? and they have continued to share updates about their family life on Instagram, much to the delight of fans. To no surprise, the pair is still going strong today.

Earlier this week, Paola showed off her post-baby body and she looks amazing!

2020 is off to a great start for the Mayfield brood.
