’90 Day Fiance’ Alum Nicole Explains Why Azan Doesn’t Post Photos of Her on Instagram

It works for them! 90 Day Fiancé alum Nicole Nafziger had a perfectly good explanation for the reason why her long-distance fiancé, Azan Tefou (a.k.a. Hassan M’Raouni), doesn’t share pictures of her on his Instagram page or post comments on her posts.

“There are people (men and women) who feel they don’t need to post pics of their significant other on social media to show love. As long as he shows it to me, that’s what matters,” Nicole, 26, explained during a Q&A session with fans on IG Story. “I’m a person who likes to post pictures and do the social media thing. It’s not a big thing for him. That doesn’t mean he loves me any less.”

Azan, 29, has not posted a photo of Nicole since sharing a couple’s selfie in May 2017, which was captioned with a red heart emoji. Another photo of the couple on the Moroccan native’s page is a selfie with the caption, “I miss my girl.” He’s been on a hiatus from his account since September 2019.

Nicole recently spent nearly five months quarantining with Azan after her trip to Morocco was extended amid the global coronavirus pandemic. The Florida native originally planned to only visit her beau for a two-week vacation, but the Moroccan government shut down its borders shortly after she arrived in March.

During their time together, Azan didn’t share any photos of Nicole on social media. After she finally made it back to the United States in August, he returned to Instagram and posted three solo gym selfies. Nicole has “liked” ever one of Azan’s recent posts, but he hasn’t double-tapped any of her recent photos.

Even though the couple doesn’t share PDA via social media, it seems their relationship is still going strong. Nicole told fans she still plans to move to Morocco with her daughter, May, from a previous relationship to live with Azan. They also seemed to stick to their original plan of getting married in Morocco, then living there as a family while they file for Azan’s CR-1 visa approval, which would allow him to enter the United States as a permanent legal resident because he is the spouse of an American citizen.
