Will There Be a ‘Love on the Spectrum’ Season 4?

Netflix confirmed the show’s renewal for a fourth season on May 14, 2025, revealing that daters from all over the U.S. will navigate the ups and downs of their romantic journeys in new upcoming episodes.

Season 4 is set to premiere in 2026, although a specific release date has yet to be announced.

“The show itself has actually become the template for people to then think, ‘That’s what love can look like in my life, and I can be like that character who doesn’t necessarily fit the typical stereotype,’” Karina Holden, who cocreated the show alongside Cian O’Clery, told Tudum in a statement. “The uniqueness of individuals within Love on the Spectrum has allowed people to be confident to pursue their version of relationships and friendships and love.”

Season 3 was released on Netflix on April 2, 2025.

‘Love on the Spectrum’ Has Won Multiple Emmy Awards

The show has been a big winner for Netflix at the primetime Emmy Awards.

Love on the Spectrum took home the Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program in 2022, along with two more Emmys for picture editing and casting for the show’s first season. In 2024, LOTS was nominated for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program and won Emmys for casting and directing for the show’s second season.

When Could ‘Love on the Spectrum’ Season 4 Begin Filming?

If history is any indication, filming for a fourth season would likely get underway shortly after Netflix announces the renewal. Season 3 began filming in May 2024, one month after the streaming service confirmed it would be returning.

Many ‘Love on the Spectrum’ Stars Are Series Regulars

Love on the Spectrum is unique as a dating show in that it brings back cast members from previous seasons while only adding a few new members to the new season’s casts.

Fans have watched Abbey Romeo, Dani Bowman and James B. Jones across all three seasons of the series.

Abby found romance with David Isaacman in season 1, and the show has followed their relationship ever since.

Dani’s relationship with Adán Correa was first explored in season 2, and he appeared throughout season 3, although the couple broke up after filming ended. She has since found love with Henry, a police detective from Southern California.

James was unsuccessful in finding romance during the first two seasons of the show. It looked like he might come up unlucky again after he and Sonia Wiggins failed to spark in season 3. However, James found his perfect partner in Shelley Wolfe, and their love story is still going strong. The duo celebrated one year of dating in April 2025.

Connor Tomlinson joined Love on the Spectrum in season 2 and viewers watched him find a love connection with Georgie Harris in season 3.

Tanner Smith has appeared in seasons 2 and 3 but has been unlucky in finding a lasting romance despite his enthusiasm towards dating.

Madison Marilla and Pari Kim joined season 3 of Love on the Spectrum as new cast members, with both making lasting love connections.

Love on the Spectrum Has Been Inspirational for Both the Cast and Viewers

“Many people on Instagram have contacted me saying I’m inspirational. I’m trying to spread positive, hopeful messages,” James told TODAY.com in January 2024 about how fans have followed his dating experiences. “I’m hoping to show that anyone can find love and that neurological conditions should not be hindrances. They’re hindrances only if you let them be.”

Dani also shared with the outlet how the show has helped break down stereotypes.

“For anybody watching Love on the Spectrum, it’s obvious that we are not Rain Man. We are all very different. And with different wants and needs, and we all want love just like anyone else,” she explained.
