Adam And Danielle Busby Finally Reveal Why They’ve Been So MIA On Social Media: ‘It’s Been Hard’

We finally have an answer! Er, sort of. Adam, 36, and Danielle Busby, 34, took to Instagram on Friday, Dec. 21, to share a YouTube video about where the heck they’ve been. While they certainly don’t owe us any explanation, the OutDaughtered stars felt like they needed to take a few minutes to address their fans. (Ugh, love them). In the clip, the cute couple opened up about why they’ve been so MIA on social media and kinda-sorta answered the reason behind the relocation.

“It’s been a crazy, crazy, crazy couple weeks,” Danielle began. Adam chimed in that they’re currently in a “temporary house” due to “issues with our old house.” He added, “We couldn’t really get around it. The only way the issues have been… could have been fixed in the house was by us not being there. So we couldn’t stay.” Unfortunately, we won’t know exactly what those issues are until Season 4 of the hit TLC show premieres mid-next year.

Danielle also addressed the controversy surrounding their fenceless pool. “We’ve been in this house for, like, a hot second, and of course that pool is like 100% a huge priority of protection that we’ve got to have for that. Of course, yes, the second we got in here, KatchAKid came over here and measured it. We’ve got the protection scheduled to get installed next week. So I hope people don’t think we’re that naive to not put some protection around the pool when we’ve got six kids.”

ICYMI, the duo was slammed when Dani posted a pic with the pool in the background. “Why doesn’t the pool have a fence around it?” someone questioned, to which she defended, “We just moved into this lease house and they came to get ale [sic] measurement and it’s on order. Don’t worry… I’m paranoid without the fence. Ready for it to come get installed!” You tell ’em.

The couple concluded the lengthy clip with Danielle saying, “There’s things that you all see that we’re in the midst of figuring out, and fixing, and updating, but we couldn’t have been so instant with letting you all know. It’s just been a day by day.”

In other words, give these guys a break! We can’t wait to see how this all plays out next year.
