Long-Distance Love! Kenneth and Armando Make ’90 Day Fiance’ Debut on Season 2 of ‘The Other Way’

Ready for their close up! Kenneth and Armando make their debut on season 2 of the TLC spinoff, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, premiering on June 8. While the duo is completely smitten with each other, it won’t be all smooth sails in the upcoming episodes. Kenneth makes the daring decision to leave behind his life in Florida so he can be with Armando and his daughter in Mexico. Learn more about their love story below. 

How Did They Meet? 

A gay father support group brought the two together. The duo will undoubtedly have some obstacles as their relationship gets more serious, because Armando’s family is not accepting of his sexuality. That’s not all though: his loved ones also don’t know about his relationship, which can make it even trickier for the couple. 

“People [here] are still homophobic,” Armando said in the trailer.

Do They Share Similar Interests?

It certainly appears that way, but some fans question if they will face other issues because of their 26-year age gap. Armando and Kenneth have an incredible bond, so they are obviously willing to do what it takes to make their romance work. 

How Many Kids Do Kenneth and Armando Each Have? 

Kenneth, 57, has four kids of his own: Bricen and triplet daughters, Taylor, Cassidy and Madison. The new TLC star also has a grandson, Cooper. Armando, 31, is a father of a young daughter, Hannah.

What Can We Expect on Future Episodes?

In the premiere episode, fans will learn about both of their backgrounds and find out how they are navigating a long-distance relationship. Looking ahead, the duo will keep on making history as the franchise’s first-ever gay male couple.

“We’re excited about it,” Kenneth said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight ahead of the premiere. Armando admitted he’s a little nervous because he is “not sure what to expect,” especially after coming out and doing so on a public platform. 

Stephanie Matto and Erika Owens were previously featured as the first-ever same-sex couple on the entire 90 Day Fiancé franchise on Before the 90 Days.
