Check in With the Stars of ‘The Surreal Life’ Season 1 More Than a Decade After It Aired!

It's been 15 years since The Surreal Life first aired, and life is still plenty surreal for many of the Season 1 cast members. So, what happened to the eccentric gang? Well, one became a Starburst spokesperson, one worked with Donald Trump, one gave a disastrous performance on Today, one got kicked off a flight, one got elected president of the Screen Actors Guild, one starred in an ice skating reality show, and one disappeared from TV altogether.

Regardless of where they ended up, we have all those stars to thank for the success of The Surreal Life franchise, which includes more spin-offs than you could ever keep track of. The show spawned Strange Love, which gave us Flavor of Love and made way for I Love New York; then there’s My Fair Brady, Real Chance of Love, Rock of Love, I Love Money, Charm School… The list goes on and on.
