Victor Garber Says Jennifer Garner Is ‘Really Happy’ With Her Boyfriend John Miller

Stamp of approval! Jennifer Garner’s longtime friend Victor Garber admitted that the actress is in a good spot these days with her boyfriend, John Miller. “Jen is great. I talked to her for an hour today. She’s doing really well. She’s really happy,” the 70-year-old Titanic star told Us Weekly on Sunday, September 15, at the opening night of Derren Brown: Secret on Broadway.

So, why do the Alias alum, 47, and the businessman, 41, work? “He’s a great guy, and they’re friends,” Victor explained. “They’re good friends.” Victor — who officiated Jennifer’s wedding to then-husband, Ben Affleck, in 2005 — previously gushed to the outlet about Jen’s new romance. “I think he’s adorable. They’re great!” he said. “What’s wonderful is they’re taking their time, and they are just enjoying each other’s company. Her priority is her children, that’s it. She’s focused on that. She’s remarkable.”

The brunette beauty — who is the mom to three children: Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10 and Samuel, 7 — started dating the Cali Group CEO in October 2018 following her split from the Batman actor, 47. “She’d never thought she’d find love again,” a source close to Jennifer told In Touch in January. “But now John has proven her wrong. Jen is head-over-heels in love with him.”

Jen’s man has even made an impact on Ben, too. “Jen having a boyfriend has been the best thing to happen to Ben and Jen in a long time,” an insider told Us Weekly. “He’s really showing Jen that he can be a better person. They’re coparenting in a way they never have before. He ultimately just wants to be the best father he can be and part of that is continuing a loving relationship with Jen.”

Fortunately, the Good Will Hunting alum seems to be happy for his former wife. “Ben has no problem with John,” the source added. John — who was previously married to Caroline Campbell and has two children — even brings his kiddos over so they can have “playdates with Jen and Ben’s kids,” they explained. “Ben totally trusts him.”

So, is an engagement on the horizon? “Jen has someone great in her life,” a source told In Touch. “She’s taking her time and enjoying things exactly as they are right now.”

Sounds like the perfect plan!
