‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Lala Kent Celebrates 1 Year of Sobriety: ‘I Won’t Give Up for Anything’

Congratulations are in order! Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent celebrated one year sober on Tuesday, October 22. The 29-year-old honored the milestone on Instagram with a touching caption.

“Today I am one year sober. This is the biggest accomplishment I’ve ever had in my life and the one I am most proud of,” she wrote on a stunning photo of herself. “The moments I have had in the past year have been a blessing that I have been present for. I didn’t have that before. Today, I will celebrate my one-year birthday because it’s exciting. It is also humbling. Because today, and every day after that, I will fight for it. But I won’t give it up for anything ♥️.”

Friends congratulated the reality star in the comments, including comedienne Heather McDonald. “Your authenticity is inspiring,” she wrote. Tom Schwartz chimed in writing, “Proud of you LALA in so many ways! See you tonight.”

Some fans who are in recovery reached out to the star to share their stories. Lala responded to several congratulating them on their achievements. “You’ve got this baby girl,” she replied to one user, and “You are an inspiration, my love,” to another.

Just last month, Lala defended her sobriety after 50 Cent accused at the blonde beauty of substance abuse. “My sobriety is something I’m proud of and work on every day. I’ve never done cocaine nor were any other substances, other than alcohol, involved in my decision to get sober,” she wrote on her Instagram Story at the time. “The past couple of days I’ve been slammed to say the very least. People have asked me how I’m maintaining keeping my head up … to me it’s simple — I know real life from the illusion of social media.”

Luckily, Lala has lots of love in her life and has no time to deal with shade. The starlet is currently engaged to producer Randall Emmett and seems so happy. The couple celebrated their three-and-a-half-year anniversary back in July — Lala gushed about her man writing, “He is my soulmate [and] a part of who I am.” We are so proud of Lala and her achievement!
