Do not question Tyler Baltierra‘s loyalty to his wife Catelynn Lowell! The Teen Mom OG couple has the longest-lasting relationship out of the entire franchise, and they’ve also been through so many hardships and struggles in the 12 years that they’ve been together — which means that their love has stood the test of time and can probably withstand anything that will come their way. That’s why Tyler got extremely upset when a gossip blog claimed that Ty was cheating on his wife — and he took to Twitter to slam the rumors.
“Okay, so yes, I should just ignore this [and] yes, since I know it’s not true I shouldn’t be paying attention to it. BUT I’m a very stubborn individual [and] have always got a thrill from seeking out justice [and] facts. SO, Mr. [EntyLawyer], here I am calling you out! Let’s see evidence,” the 26-year-old wrote.
Tyler was tweeting about the “Blind Item #3” that an anonymous user called ENT LAWYER posted on Friday, Jan. 26, which read: “This Teen Mom star has been cheating on his significant other for almost a year. Eventually, when she starts having a clear head she is going to catch on and that could finally push her over the edge to suicide.” While there is absolutely no evidence that proves this claim is true, and the blog itself has a reputation of generating false rumors, many fans were convinced that this “item” is about Ty and Cate — especially because Cate just recently completed a rehab program after she revealed that she was experiencing suicidal thoughts.
But Ty wasn’t going to let this anonymous person get away with potentially ruining his reputation and his marriage — and fans questioned why it seemed like Ty was panicking over the rumors and blasting the blogger on social media. “A panicked person would keep their mouth shut [and hope this all slides under the radar. Not me, I’m marching in [and] calling it all out! Because I have NOTHING to hide nor worry about,” he tweeted.
The anonymous user replied to Ty on Twitter, writing, “I haven’t revealed anything about you in quite some time. You seem defensive though. Anything you care to share?” and tagged Cate and Ty’s Teen Mom OG co-stars Farrah Abraham and her ex-boyfriend Simon Saran, which gave Ty reason to believe that Farrah and Simon were behind the rumors.
Simon responded by making awful accusations about Cate’s “chain-smoking while pregnant,” and he even took a low blow at Cate’s looks, saying that he would “much rather sleep with [Farrah]” than Cate. But Ty defended his wife by not letting Simon get a rise out of him. “The more you talk the more embarrassing you look…please don’t stop,” Ty wrote.
