Tiny’s Daughter Zonnique Reveals She Faced Possible Blindness After Controversial Eye Color Surgery

Was it worth it? A fan asked T.I. and Tiny‘s daughter Zonnique Pullins that question when it came to her controversial iris implant surgery, which changed her eye color from brown to an icy grayish-blue. The reality star not only responded, but also opened up about the downside of the procedure.

Fans took notice of Zonnique’s changed eye color in one of her new Instagram photos, since she was back to her original brown hue. “Is the eye color change worth it?” one commenter asked. “Thinking of going to Kenya and getting it. I have done my research but it will help if u can tell me your experience.” The 22-year-old kept it real with her response and explained that she went to Tunisia, but still wouldn’t recommend it. “I can say that the experience wasn’t the best in the long term but everyone is different. My mom’s are fine,” Zonnique revealed about Tiny, who also got it done. “My eye started bothering me and the doctor told me that ‘you could possibly go blind.’”

On a recent episode of T.I. & Tiny: Family & Friends Hustle, Zonnique told her grandmother that she was seriously considering getting her iris implant surgery reversed. And in September of this year, fans started noticing the reality star was sporting one grayish-blue eye and one brown. Now, both of Zonnique’s eyes are back to brown. Several have since sent her well-wishes, hoping that she doesn’t have to endure anymore complications. Zonnique and Tiny got the procedure done in 2014.

“They go into the eye and they make a little slit,” Tiny explained at the time, noting how they used medical-grade silicone. “They take an implant and it’s folded up. They open it [and] spread it over your eye. They told me that the procedure was going to be quick, five to 10 minutes an eye,” she added. “They woke me up. It was very blurry, then it kind of fades in.” Hopefully everything works out for the best!
