Tom Brady has been making a lot of headlines as of late, from his social media spat with Logan Paul to his PDA-packed sightings with Alix Earle.

“There’s a lot of talk that he’s going through a midlife crisis, and for good reason!” a source tells In Touch.

The retired NFL quarterback, 48, got into a heated exchange with Paul, 30, ahead of their Fanatics Flag Football Classic showdown in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday, March 21.

“His friends were shaking their heads wondering what had gotten into him,” the source says of Brady’s trash talking on the Impaulsive podcast. “It was really out of character.”

His rumored romance with Earle, 25, has also raised a few eyebrows too.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion was first spotted getting cozy with the influencer at a New Year’s Eve party in St. Barths, later reuniting at a Super Bowl bash in San Francisco.

“Some folks may think it’s cool that he’s now going out every weekend and being the life and soul of the party,” says the source. “But for the vast majority of those who know Tom, it’s totally bizarre and worrisome to see him behaving like a 20-something half the time.”

Brady doesn’t see anything wrong with his behavior, though.

“Tom’s official line when he’s asked is that he’s cutting loose and having fun, there’s nothing to worry about,” the source tells In Touch. “He’s very busy work-wise, so it’s only fair he wants to blow off a little steam and not restrict himself to a boring, middle-aged lifestyle.”

Still, “there’s a real worry he’s overdoing things and all these red flags keep popping up and giving friends cause for concern,” says the source. “There’s a collective feeling he’s a little all over the map, partying a little too hard and setting himself up for embarrassment with all this over-exposure and hype.”
