Teen Mom’s Mackenzie McKee Shares Update Amid Pregnancy With Twins, Compares It to Past Pregnancies

Teen Mom: The Next Chapter star Mackenzie McKee shared an update about her latest pregnancy as she expects twins with her fiancé, Khesanio Hall.

Mackenzie, 30, took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, April 8, to answer several questions about her current pregnancy with babies No. 4 and No. 5. After one person asked how her current pregnancy has “been different from the others,” the MTV star shared a list of differences.

“I never had morning sickness with the others. I didn’t grow as fast. I was extremely prepared this time. I feel so much more mature,” she wrote. “My diabetic care is top notch.”

After noting that she doesn’t have her late mother, Angie Douthit, around to help her during the pregnancy, she said that she has a more supportive partner than her ex-husband, Josh McKee.

“I’m not chasing a man begging him to step up his game every day,” she wrote about Josh, 31, before changing her attention to Khes, 30. “My partner loves my belly 24/7.”

Mackenzie added that this is her first pregnancy that she’s been able to “relax” because it’s not up to her “if the bills are paid.”

Also during the Q&A, Mackenzie shared when she expects to deliver the twins after a fan predicted that she’s due in August. “I carried my singletons to 36-37 weeks only. I’d love to try and make it past next month into June,” she wrote. “32-34 weeks is my goal.”

When asked about her cravings, Mackenzie admitted that she didn’t have the easiest first trimester. “First three months, I threw up every day, slept all day and couldn’t eat anything,” she shared.

Meanwhile, others asked how she had been caring for her diabetes throughout the pregnancy. “This pregnancy is unlike the last 3. I have an insulin pump and Dexcom, along with a great diabetic care team,” she said. “My sugars are not only great, but the babies are super healthy and growing perfectly.”

Mackenzie is already the mother to children Gannon, 13, Jaxie, 10, and Broncs, 7, with Josh, whom she married in 2013. The former couple broke up and got back together several times before she announced their final split in 2022.

Following her split from Josh, Mackenzie began dating Khes and they announced their engagement in May 2024.

“I had my dad, sisters and best friend in town. We decided to all dress up for a photo shoot and head to the beach,” the TV personality told People about the beach proposal. “When I arrived at the beach, I saw my man there, ready to ask me to marry him … The first thing that came to my mind was, ‘Oh my God, I am loved. I get to marry this man that I love so much.’”

Ten months later, Mackenzie shared that she and Khes were expecting twins together after she underwent IVF.

“No one knows I’m pregnant but I am,” she said while appearing on the March 31 episode of The Drew Barrymore Show. “There’s two in there.”
